What we collect

Indie Egg apps collect a small amount of data to keep things running well and to serve ads in free versions. Here's exactly what:

  • App activity (Firebase Analytics): anonymous usage data and crash reports. This is aggregated only — no individual is identified. It helps us understand which features are used and fix bugs faster.
  • Advertising ID (Google AdMob): the device advertising identifier, used to serve and measure ads in free versions of our apps. This is standard practice for ad-supported apps on Android. You can opt out at any time (see below).

What we do not collect

The Indie Egg website (indieegg.com) uses no cookies, no tracking scripts, and no analytics.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, microphone input, or any credentials. No user accounts are created in any Indie Egg app. We never have and don't plan to.

Third parties

Two third-party services receive data when you use our apps:

  • Google AdMob — receives your device's advertising identifier to serve ads in the free version of each app. Once you purchase "Remove Ads," AdMob no longer receives this identifier from that app.
  • Google Firebase — receives anonymised usage events and crash data to help us improve the apps.

No data is sold. No other third parties receive your data.

Your data on your device

All game progress, streaks, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device only. They never leave your phone unless you back up your device through Google's standard backup system, which is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

To delete all local data for an app: uninstall it, or go to Android Settings → Apps → [App Name] → Storage → Clear Data.

Opting out of personalised ads

You can opt out of ad personalisation at any time: Android Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation.

You'll still see ads in the free version, but they won't be targeted based on your interests. The cleanest option is to purchase "Remove Ads" in the app — it's a one-time payment and removes ads permanently.

Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
